Two product lines, one material
Fresnel Flexible Screen
A flexible Fresnel screen material made from silicone. It is the only Fresnel screen material that can be rolled repeatedly — the foundation for motorized screens that rise, retract and roll again, day after day.
Roll-cycle testing is in progress under protocol PROSILEX-QTP-ROLL-001. Results are published as checkpoints complete.
Silicone-Coated Fabric
A silicone-coated fabric material with the soft hand of leather, made for seating, interiors and everyday goods. Specifications, colors and finishes are available on request.
Why silicone decides the life of a motorized screen
A motorized screen rolls up and down every day. Its roll-cycle life decides the life of the whole screen. Other Fresnel materials have limited roll life: repeated rolling fatigues their microstructures, causes cracking and loses gain. Only silicone Fresnel can be rolled again and again — which is why it is the only material that can carry a finished, motorized Fresnel screen.
